Learning Objects
Within LangNet, a Learning Object (LO) refers to a self-contained unit of language instruction that is designed to help the participant gain in target language proficiency. The exercise consists of reading or listening text and activities with instructional components such as a glossary, feedback, hints, and notes. LO activities provide interactive experiences with an oral or written target language text. The activities are carefully prepared and planned with a functional objective in mind.
The NFLC has completed over 4,500 LOs in 33 languages and continues to create these diverse materials for language learners.
